Jebaited Records started with nothing but a second-hand laptop, a cracked copy of a DAW, and a single condenser microphone on a duct-taped stand. The label was born out of frustration with the industry, run by a couple of friends who spent their rent money on acoustic foam instead of food. Their first "office" was a cramped basement corner where they recorded local rappers and punk bands for fifty dollars a song. They hung a cheap, home-printed logo on the damp concrete wall using thumb tacks just to make the space feel official. It was loud, chaotic, and completely unpolished, but that gritty DIY setup laid the foundation for everything they would eventually build.
